Mr. Jiang is a partner of Watson & Band Law Offices.

Mr. Jiang graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a master's degree in civil and commercial law.

Mr. Jiang joined the Shanghai Public Security Bureau in 2005. During his tenure, he took on various tasks of different police types in the grassroots office, branch office and municipal bureau office. He has accumulated rich experience in law enforcement and case handling, with systematic and complete performance of duties in multiple law enforcement fields such as administrative case investigation, criminal investigation, network information security, as well as entry and exit control.

Mr. Jiang was then selected to serve at the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress. He successively engaged in legal supervision and local legislative work, completing more than 40 local legislative projects and undertaking over 300 filings review projects.

After joining Watson & Band, Mr. Jiang’s current practice areas include: arbitration and litigation of civil and commercial cases; corporate data security and personal information protection; intellectual property investigation; major and difficult economic criminal cases; and government legal services.

In the field of civil and commercial dispute resolution/arbitration, Mr. Jiang mainly handles various disputes over contracts, compensation for property damages and equities, among others. He has represented leading corporations in the mobile marketing industry in a number of commercial contract disputes, and acted as a permanent legal counsel for leading corporations in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, handling tax-related business and commercial compliance business.

In the field of data security and intellectual property, Mr. Jiang mainly represents corporate clients in (civil/criminal) contentious cases and provides non-contentious legal consultation services for corporate clients in the areas of corporate data compliance, personal information protection, trade secret infringement, trademark infringement and copyright infringement, etc.

In the field of criminal law practice, Mr. Jiang is good at identifying the legal nature of cases involving both criminal and civil proceedings. He is able to analyze cases in favor of the clients based on the evidence standards in practice, so as to form an effective plan of defense and obtain desirable results for the clients.

In terms of government legal services, Mr. Jiang has participated in the drafting and demonstration of multiple local regulations in Shanghai. He has also assumed preparation of draft texts and interpretations of local regulations for many times.

Mr. Jiang is a practicing lawyer in China and his working languages are Chinese and English.
