Cal Calvert has worked as an attorney for over 15 years during that time he has defended a variety of parties including restaurants, trucking companies, retail outlets, bars, and individuals.  Cal has Defended parties throughout the state of Texas in everything from simple matters to complex cases involving multiple parties. 

Notable Cases:  

  • Recently assisted in the trial of an alleged traumatic brain injury, Cause No 2017-33189; Mark Brown, v ECCL et al, resulting in a defense verdict. 

Community Service:

  • Mr. Calvert was in the Army National Guard from 1989 – 1999 where was trained as a Combat Engineer and in Field Artillery.  He achieved the rank of Sargent before separating.  He currently volunteers as a USA swim official, UIL Swim Official and NCAA swim official.
