Daniela was born and raised in Honduras. She possesses a unique and worldly legal background.  After obtaining her law degree in Honduras from the University of San Pedro Sula and practicing for two years, Daniela moved to Spain where she received her Master’s in Globalization Law and Social Integration from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. Upon her return to Honduras, she worked as in house counsel for the Central Bank of Honduras. After five years in this role, guided by her desire to practice and her training in private contractual law, she transitioned into private practice where she handled a wide range of litigation and transactional matters from Corporate Governance, Banking Law, Commercial Contracts, Trademark Infringement, and Contractual Breaches. She advocated for her individual clients and entities at all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, settlement negotiations and trial. She zealously represented her clients in contractual negotiations and disputes.

Daniela obtained her LL.M. in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston Law Center and became a Texas licensed attorney in 2021.  Her practice focuses on civil litigation at the state and federal level, primarily handling cross border insurance defense, trucking & transportation accidents, and premises liability.

Daniela is a native Spanish speaker and has a special interest in diversity and culture, and its interaction in the legal arena. This interest and her travels have allowed her to understand and connect with her clients of all backgrounds. Daniela believes that being a good attorney does not only require good planning and strategy from day one but listening and understanding the client.

Outside of work Daniela loves to travel, cook, cycle, kiteboard, and practice MMA. The beach is her happy place.
