Jenna C. Newmark is a senior associate in Barton’s commercial litigation practice.

Jenna has extensive experience in a broad range of complex commercial litigations including defending financial institutions in breach of contract suits, various manufacturers of consumer products in individual and mass tort litigations, and a popular Internet website in suits alleging claims of platform liability. She has substantial case management experience in all phases of pre-trial discovery and trial preparation, including motions and pleadings such as motions to dismiss, discovery motions, and motions in limine. She is skilled at developing expert strategy, including preparing expert witnesses for trial and depositions and cross-examining opposing expert witnesses. Jenna is particularly adept at understanding scientific literature and its underlying data as well. She has substantial experience in handling multi-district litigations.

Jenna’s industry experience includes defending manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer products in litigation of product liability suits.

A proficient writer and speaker, Jenna has co-authored numerous articles and has presented before the NYC Bar and at the University of Idaho.

Prior to joining Barton, Jenna practiced at the New York office of Dechert LLP.
