Mr. Huang is a partner of Watson & Band Law Offices in Shanghai.

Mr. Huang graduated from Shanghai University with an LLB degree and became a qualified attorney-at-law in 2001. 

Mr. Huang specializes in IPR dispute resolution and is especially skilled in handling various types of patent dispute litigation. After joining Watson & Band in 2002, Mr. Huang has provided legal consultation and litigation services for hundreds of domestic and overseas companies, including some world-leading multinationals and Fortune 500 companies. 

Mr. Huang is richly experienced in IPR litigation. Some cases undertaken by him were selected as typical cases of the year by the Supreme People’s Court and the Shanghai IP Court, and one of the Top 10 Typical Cases of Judicial Protection for Intellectual Property Rights heard by Jiangsu Courts.

Mr. Huang was elected as a Talent Lawyer for Foreign-related Legal Matters of Shanghai and is serving as a legal counselor of Shanghai IP Office and a special mediator of IP disputes in Xuhui District.  In addition, Mr. Huang has given a number of seminars, training sessions and business consultation to the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and entities of Japanese companies in China. Mr. Huang also published a legal paper titled “On Interpretation of Claims in Patent Infringement Litigation” on the book series IPR Research and his essays Exploration of Rules of Interpretation of Functional Technical Features in the Patent Law was awarded the Excellent Paper of the 14th East China Lawyer’s Forum.
