Teague Campbell is proud to announce that six attorneys have been selected to the 2014 edition of Super Lawyers for the state of North Carolina, including Dayle A. Flammia, and Bruce A. Hamilton who have been named 2014 Super Lawyers for the 9th consecutive year. Courtney C. Britt, Bradley G. Inman, Leslie P. Lasher, and John L. Kubis, Jr. have all been named 2014 “Rising Stars”.
Dayle Flammia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from North Carolina State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the North Carolina Industrial Commission, where he actively participated in researching and formulating opinions and awards filed by the Full Commission, the appellate body of the Industrial Commission.
Bruce Hamilton graduated from Tulane University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to joining Teague Campbell, Bruce practiced law in Boston, Massachusetts with the firm of Burns and Levinson, where his practice consisted primarily of civil defense litigation, with an emphasis on product and premises liability.
Courtney’s practice focuses on defending private businesses, employers and insurance carriers in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, workers’ compensation and civil liability matters. She has tried cases in North Carolina Superior Court, at the North Carolina Industrial Commission and in United States District Court.
Brad brings a diverse background and unique perspective to the practice of law, having worked as a Certified Public Account prior to attending law school. After earning his CPA license, Brad worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, DC and the Cayman Islands for five years and during that time gained a familiarity with how businesses function and the need for effective litigation management strategies. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked with multinational corporations and lectured on various topics, including tax law and international accounting procedures.
Leslie Lasher has an active practice representing government entities, employers, and health care providers before North Carolina’s state, appellate, and federal courts and also defends workers’ compensation occupational disease cases before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
John Kubis Jr. graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and received his Juris Doctor from Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. While in law school John was a member of the Natural Resources Law Journal, Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and was actively involved in various community service and philanthropic initiatives. After receiving his Juris Doctor, he served as law clerk to Deputy Chief Justice Will T. Scott, of the Kentucky Supreme Court.
