Osmar Simões began his career working in the Tax area, with experience at an international auditing and consulting firm. Later, he transitioned to law practice and expanded his practice to the areas of Corporate Law, M&A, and Capital Markets.
Throughout his more than 30 years of professional experience, he has participated in numerous landmark transactions in the national market, involving both M&A and corporate reorganizations and debt and asset restructurings, always combining knowledge of corporate and tax practices.
Due to his accounting background and experience in auditing, Osmar frequently coordinates more complex due diligence processes.
Additionally, he acquired solid and practical business experience based on his work on the boards of directors of national and international companies, notably Telesisa/Lucent Brasil, Procomp Indústria Eletrônica (now Diebold Nixdorf), and Hospital e Maternidade São Luiz, as well as participation in advisory and supervisory boards.
Due to this multidisciplinary characteristic, Osmar is recognized by clients as a skilled negotiator capable of handling and resolving issues involving different legal aspects.
