Christina O’Brien is an Associate in the Business Law and Real Estate practice groups. She practices in the areas of corporate and LLC law, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, and real estate law.

Christina joined the legal field with almost two decades of experience in nonprofit administration, including as an Executive Director and a consultant on nonprofit management. As a result, her legal advice is grounded in her expertise in organizational areas such as strategy, collaboration, partnerships, staffing, marketing, and charitable giving. She has always had a particular interest in making sure that organizations of all types are run efficiently and strategically.

While earning her JD at the Cleveland State University College of Law, Christina also completed externships and clerkships with several prominent businesses and organizations. These included the US Attorney’s Office, CSU’s Transactional Law Clinic, and JOANN, and through these Christina gained experience with diverse issues such as contracts, trademarks, liability, and civil and criminal litigation.

With an understanding of the unique challenges faced by business leaders who are accountable to board members and other stakeholders, Christina works to provide thorough and timely solutions to her client’s problems.

Christina has volunteered with and served on the boards of nonprofits ranging from small start-ups to large organizations. She lives in Avon with husband and two daughters and enjoys travelling.
