Attorney. Degree in Law from Eduardo Mondlane University. Dr. Eduardo Alberto Calú has been Managing Partner of SAL & Caldeira since January 2016, and is also responsible for the Tax and Labor Practice Groups. He has extensive experience in advising national and international clients, for profit and non-profit, on issues that include tax and customs litigation and pre-litigation, tax compliance and planning, strategic advice for investments and tax incentives applicable to collective bargaining and discipline labor. He has been heavily involved in the reform of the tax regime for the Oil, Gas and Mining sectors in Mozambique, representing the interests of the industry. He has been a university professor of Criminal Law since 2006.
