Eleanor is an associate in the Business Restructuring team at Marriott Harrison.

She works on all aspects of distressed restructuring and insolvency matters, whether corporate or personal, non-contentious or contentious, domestic or cross-border. She acts for a variety of stakeholders, including financial institutions and other lenders, insolvency and turnaround practitioners, debtors and boards of directors.

Typical elements of her work include advising lenders contemplating their enforcement options (including on the validity of their facility agreements and security documents), advising directors in relation to their duties where the solvency of their company is in question, acting for insolvency practitioners on administration sales (whether pre-packaged or otherwise) and providing technical advice on all aspects of formal insolvencies.

Eleanor recognises and understands the sensitivities around distressed situations and the need to provide effective and prompt legal and commercial advice to clients, helping to ensure that they are properly supported in the most difficult of circumstances.

Her practice also sees her working on banking and other debt financing transactions, acting variously for both borrowers and lenders.

Eleanor is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
