Ali Trianfo joins the legal team at Manley Burke after a career in local and state government relations, where she represented clients – particularly social service organizations – to legislative and administrative bodies. She will continue her work with nonprofits and development through Manley Burke’s national nonprofit registration program.
Ali earned her bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Honors Program. After graduation, she managed political campaigns and worked as a legislative aide at Cincinnati City Hall under then-Councilmember Greg Landsman. She began work at Government Strategies Group in the summer of 2018 to manage the firm’s finances, lobbyist registration compliance at the city of Cincinnati and state of Ohio, and client development.


While at Government Strategies Group, Ali earned her juris doctorate at the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law’s evening division. In law school she received two “CALI Excellence for the Future” awards for legal writing and became an active volunteer with the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, where she has assisted low-income taxpayers understand and file their taxes for the past two tax years. Ali is an active member of several nonprofit advisory committees to lend government relations expertise, including Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD) and Caracole.
