William Barrett is CEO and partner of the firm, a member of the firm’s executive committee, and chairman of the Corporate Practice Group. He has many years of experience specializing in business formations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity placements, commercial finance transactions, and intellectual property matters.
Bill often serves as outside general counsel to his clients, and advises them on issues concerning employment law compliance, structure of executive compensation programs and agreements, as well as business succession and related tax planning. His representative clients include commercial organizations and entrepreneurs in the areas of manufacturing, industry, service, banking, finance, construction, real estate development, and medical professionals of varying disciplines.
In addition to the many business sectors Bill serves, he is also recognized nationally as an authority in dental law, with unique expertise in dental and dental specialty practice transactions, practice sales and purchases, associate buy-ins, financing options and workouts, as well as an advisor to his clients on personnel policies and regulatory compliance.
