Harrison McAvoy represents businesses in high-stakes commercial litigation and antitrust matters, helping companies protect their competitive position and resolve significant disputes efficiently and strategically. He serves as Co-Chair of Mandelbaum Barrett’s Antitrust Practice and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Healthcare Practice Groups

Harrison has more than a decade of experience litigating complex cases in federal and state courts across the country. Harrison provides antitrust counsel and represents clients in litigation concerning competition-related issues, as well as a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including cases involving theft of trade secrets and other confidential information, breach of contract, business torts, and other significant claims affecting core business relationships.

He regularly represents companies across a range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, technology, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and manufacturing. Harrison has litigated claims involving monopolization, price fixing, group boycotts, and other competition issues, and has substantial experience working with economists and industry experts. He frequently plays a central role in developing litigation strategy and managing complex cases through critical phases of motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. Clients rely on him to manage complex litigation efficiently while keeping business objectives and practical outcomes front and center.

Harrison frequently represents New Jersey-based companies, including closely held businesses and middle-market enterprises, facing complex commercial disputes. In addition to courtroom advocacy, he advises companies on antitrust compliance and works closely with business leaders and in-house counsel to develop strategic approaches to managing litigation risk and resolving conflicts.

Harrison has experience litigating disputes involving healthcare companies and other participants in highly regulated industries, where competition issues, contractual relationships, and regulatory frameworks often intersect.

Early in his career, Harrison served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Shipp of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He also interned with the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the New York Attorney General.
