Hernany Veytia advises and represents companies, industry associations, States and State-owned entities in trade, commercial, and investment treaty arbitrations. She was also appointed as an independent expert witness in multijurisdictional litigations on issues related to structured finance deals and acted as sole arbitrator or member of the tribunal on several UNCITRAL and ICC arbitrations brought by Petrochemical and renewable energy companies on insurance coverage related to water, power, oil, gas, and metals purchase agreements in emerging and developing countries.

As mediator, she has helped companies to settle international disputes through strategic mergers and acquisitions in record time. She sits on boards of directors and is project sponsor of geospatial alternative risk transformations funds in Italy, and the United Kingdom. Ms Veytia frequently gets invited as speaker at industry summits, serves as UNIDROIT correspondent and is an accomplished author of multiple publications on international business transactions. For more than a decade she has been the director of the BNM-Cambridge Centre on Sustainable Investments.
