On Monday, 16 January 2012, Russell Advocaten held their traditional New Year's reception for the 29th year in succession. Some 600 guests attended the reception at the famous Amstelveen Cobra museum.
On Wednesday, 18 January the event was featured in a large article along with several photos in the national newspaper “De Telegraaf” and dubbed “the reception of receptions.” With 800,000 subscribers and over 2 million readers “De Telegraaf” is the largest daily newspaper of the Netherlands. The membership of Russell Advocaten in Primerus was once again highlighted in the article as the following translation shows: “Hosts Reinier and Paul Russell told us that the well-respected law firm last year further intensified its cooperation with Primerus, a global network of leading law firms that are specialized in corporate law. The network consists of 3,000 lawyers in more than 35 countries, they explained. That way we can offer our clients the best of two worlds.”
