Richard E. Smith Appointed to Samford University’s Board of Overseers

The law firm of Christian & Small LLP, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, announced today that Richard E. Smith, Esq., a partner in the firm, has been appointed to Samford University’s Board of Overseers. He will serve a four-year term on the board, which provides advice and counsel to the Samford University president and board of trustees on academic issues and policies and supports the university’s advancement in the community.

Smith is one of the founding partners of Christian & Small. Smith has extensive litigation experience, including over 150 jury trials in more than 30 Alabama counties and all three Alabama federal district courts. He received his B.S. from Samford University and holds a J.D. from its Cumberland School of Law.
