The National Judicial College is the leading national judicial education and training institution in the world, and is located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno.

The National Judicial College (NJC) was founded in 1963 (under the American Bar Association administrative umbrella and named the National College of State Trial Judges) and is proud of its continuous service to the nation's judiciary. Judges from all areas of the judicial system, such as those working in the limited and general jurisdiction fields, as well as administrative law, tribal, and military judges, have benefited from the judicial education programs offered at the College. The College is located on the historic 255-acre campus of the University of Nevada, Reno.
With a predominately volunteer faculty dedicated to providing the nation's judiciary with real-world solutions to everyday situations, the National Judicial College has focused its efforts and considerable experience to provide participants with first rate, comprehensive judicial training. Since its inception, NJC has awarded more than 80,000 professional judicial education certificates. The College averages 90 courses with approximately 5,000 judges enrolling from across the nation each year.
