Brydon Hugo & Parker (San Francisco, CA) is pleased to announce that John R. Brydon successfully defended Pneumo Abex in an asbestos related case.

The plaintiff contended she had contracted an asbestos related disease from the clothes of her husband whose work included grinding brakes. Pneumo Abex was alleged to have supplied the brake linings on which plaintiff's husband worked. The case turned largely on the key cross-examination by Mr. Brydon of the plaintiff's expert which resulted in the jury understanding that Pneumo Abex's asbestos could not have caused the disease. The jury returned a defense verdict, finding that the plaintiff did not suffer from an asbestos related disease.
