23-02-06 A trademark becomes our identity

Everything about Primerus™ is encompassed in our first trademark, “Good People Who Happen to Be Good Lawyers™.”

Simple and yet meaningful, the expression has served as our identity for more than three decades, and has two distinct components, “Good People” and “Good Lawyers.”

From the outset, we have emphasized the importance of attracting good people, members who strive each day to be the best they can be by displaying a moral compass that points true north. They are people who are inherently kind, respectful, and compassionate, readily displaying a willingness to help others with no strings attached.

The second component – good lawyers – is reflective of a member whose role in the legal profession is to serve others as an exceptional attorney and a true peacemaker in the art of human relations. Metaphorically speaking, they supply the oil for the engine of complex civilizations that operate by the rule of law.

The same concept can be applied to other professions as well, and has inspired the birth of the Primerus™ Foundation, a philanthropic organization designed to uplift the standards of the political profession, creating what we hope will become a global society of “Good People Who Happen to Be Good World Leaders.”
