Q: Before becoming an attorney, what was your first job?

A: Growing up in a legal family my first job was at the ripe old age of 12 when I started working summers in my dad’s office doing everything from making copies to running errands that could be done on foot.

Q: What motivated you to pursue a legal career?

A: I never wanted to be anything else. My dad tried desperately to steer me away from law, but I was determined and he eventually gave up.

A: The previous answer notwithstanding, it’s my dad. Once he gave up, he taught me so much. A close second is my uncle, who is now a Court of Appeals justice.

A: “Tears of gratitude dry up quickly, get your fees up front.”

Q: What is one thing you would like to learn to do?

A: I would love to play a musical instrument like the guitar, but being tone deaf I’ll just have to listen to people who are God- blessed with that talent.

Q: What is your proudest career achievement?

A: My STEP Caribbean “Top Student Award.”
