Being visible in Primerus is easier than ever. As you have seen in past Weekly articles, there are multiple opportunities to speak and publish through your Primerus membership.  Below is a brief overview of some of the other ways to be visible within Primerus.

WEBSITE AND SEO

Every Primerus firm has a profile on Primerus.com. Each profile includes a firm overview, attorney profiles including biographies and experience, pages dedicated to practice areas, and a resource page where firm news and articles are posted. Each portion of a firm’s profile plays an important role in promoting and optimizing the firm.

The goal is for your Primerus firm pages to rank on page one of a Google search. Search data suggests very few searchers look past the first page of results. Additionally, with your Primerus profile occupying a spot on the first page of results, this removes one of your firm’s competitors on page-one search results. For better optimization, firms must keep Primerus updated on firm changes and forward any articles or newsworthy information.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media serves as an excellent resource to market your firm and individual attorneys. There are multiple platforms, each one providing value depending on the intended audience. Social media can be intimidating, especially for firms who are technologically adverse. The Primerus Services Team can help to identify which platform is best suited for you and your firm as well as what and how often you should be posting.

PRACTICE GROUPS AND SECTIONS

As indicated in last week’s article about practice groups, involvement with both practice groups and sections is a great way to get involved and be visible within the membership. Not only are you able to network with other members who have similar practices or are similarly situated in their firms, but you are able to market with referral sources and clients in those areas.

PROACTIVELY CONNECT TO THE MEMBERSHIP

Connecting with others may be one of the most important, and frankly, easiest ways to be visible within Primerus. Primerus coordinators are happy to make connections on your behalf, based on practice areas or geographies. We also encourage the membership to proactively reach out to members whom you have met at meetings, on networking calls, or new firms in membership to introduce yourselves and identify commonalities in your practices.

Your coordinators stand ready to assist you in being visible in the membership:
