On February 15 and 16, Primerus™ hosted its annual Defense Institute Transportation Seminar in beautiful Tampa, FL. On Thursday, February 15, nearly 50 attendees made up of defense counsel, trucking industry professionals, and insurance carriers who enjoyed a fantastic networking dinner followed by a stunning sunset over the Bay at Oystercatchers! The following day, those attendees heard outstanding presentations covering topics such as legal, regulatory, and legislative news updates; overcoming evidentiary issues with FMCSR violations; biomechanics and defending against Daubert Challenges; loading dock matters; and how to address Damages to avoid nuclear verdicts. Attendees were able to trouble shoot issues related to these topics , and that affect the trucking industry.
