Please come share in this amazing experience with us!

Here's what attendees had to say about last year's YLS Conference..

This was my third YLS Conference, and I have enjoyed each one. Getting to the YLS Conference this year was certainly a challenge all on its own. Due to the Colorado Bomb cycle, most of us were stuck in our different layovers. Some were able to get another flight (after an immense amount of time on standby), others unfortunately had to cancel. However, I can say that-despite the difficulties-the trip was still definitely worth it. It is always great to put faces to all the Primerus attorneys we interact with, and to connect with the young lawyers in our network. We were also able to have great speakers teach CLEs and gain insight into how most jurisdictions handle different situations, such as legalization of marijuana in the workplace, to daily ethics dilemmas. This interaction by itself is worth the trip. The Primerus gives back program and the bike building experience with Wish for Wheels, helping local communities, was also a great addition to the programming.

I truly recommend this program to all firms and to consider sending their young attorneys next year. It is a great way to get to know the attorneys in your network and develop relationships with them, while enjoying great CLE Courses.
-Mayra C. Artiles, Estrella LLC (San Juan, Puerto Rico)

The 2019 Young Lawyer's Section Conference was a great opportunity to meet with future Primerus leaders in an intimate setting and learn from top-notch substantive CLE presenters. I greatly enjoyed the conference's community service project where we built bikes with local elementary school students. It was great to top off this event by giving back to the local community.
-Charles P. Montgomery, Earp Cohn P.C. (Cherry Hill, NJ)
Despite taking place during a bomb cyclone snowstorm, this year's YLS conference did not disappoint. The substantive programming was very informative, ranging from a panel discussion about the new generation of law to experienced malpractice counsel providing practical tips on how to avoid malpractice.

I especially enjoyed the presentation on how Colorado employers have navigated the legalization of marijuana, as Massachusetts recently legalized recreational marijuana and we have many clients seeking advice on the issues discussed. Upon my return to Boston, I did a mini-presentation to our firm on the topics reviewed, which my colleagues found interesting. The social aspect of the conference was also invaluable. I believe that being able to tell clients I've met the attorney I'm referring them to provides an added layer of confidence. Just in the last month since we were in Denver, I've consulted with two attorneys I met at the conference on cases that could turn into significant litigation. Chris Dawe and Alicia Bos should be commended for doing an amazing job re-working the schedule on the go to accommodate changing weather and travel plans. I'm looking forward to attending next year (hopefully somewhere warm!).
-Robert P. Rudolph, Rudolph Friedmann LLP (Boston, MA)

Past YLS Conferences have helped me to expand my network, hone my skills as a lawyer and marketer, and have created lasting relationships with lawyers from all over the world. These past experiences are why I endured 2 trips to the airport, 4 delays, and ultimately 2 canceled flights by 2 different airlines before I finally declared mother nature the victor in my battle to attend the conference this year in Denver. It was very disappointing to miss this year I will absolutely be attending next year. I recommend the YLS Conference to any young lawyer interested in growing as an attorney and a marketer.
-Michael O. Smith, Cardelli Lanfear P.C. (Royal Oak, MI)
It never ceases to amaze me how Primerus vets and selects the best lawyers. Not only are they creative and talented lawyers, but they're a pleasure to be around, and the Young Lawyers are no different.

Part of why we choose to be lawyers is that we want to make a difference and give back to our communities. We had the opportunity at the Young Lawyers Conference to do exactly that by building bikes and donating them to second and third graders in an at risk school. The smiles and excitement from the students made the experience so wonderful!

While we all come from different areas of practice, the Young Lawyers conference consistently provides valuable continuing education on overlapping legal issues impacting us all. Perhaps even more importantly, though, is the education we get on how to market ourselves, how to market our firms, and how to further the success and bottom line of our practices. There's a return on investment that partners get by sending their younger lawyers.
