Las Vegas, NV – Trevor Atkin, Founding/Managing Partner of Atkin Winner & Sherrod, has been appointed as a Nevada District Court Judge. Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak appointed Trevor to fill a vacancy left on the District Court bench by Douglas Smith.
Prior to his appointment, Trevor practiced law for over 30 years in the areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation, general liability and personal injury defense. As a lawyer, Trevor obtained an A-V ranking in Martindale-Hubbell for his legal ability and high ethical standards.
In addition to his dedication to the practice of law, Trevor has been active in the community with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada through pro bono work, the Nevada State Bar Mentorship program, and the Justice League of Nevada. He has also lectured students at the College of Southern Nevada.
