The McCallister Law Firm, P.C. announces the addition of Laura Van Note to their firm as an associate trial attorney.

Laura Van Note graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law in May of 2013. Laura began her career with the McCallister Law Firm as a law clerk and became an associate after her admission to the Missouri Bar. Since her admission to the practice of law, Laura has focused her career on both criminal defense and plaintiff trial work.

While in law school, Laura was the captain of the National Trial Advocacy Team. She also served as Law Clerk for the Hon. Rachel L. Bringer, Presiding Judge for the 10th Judicial Circuit during the summer of her first year. Laura first chaired a felony bench trial and presented oral argument at numerous hearings under Missouri Supreme Court Rule 13. Laura was selected for membership in the Order of the Barrister, a national honor recognizing excellence in oral advocacy skills, upon her graduation.
