February 2020, Melbourne, FL – Widerman Malek P.L. of Melbourne, Florida hosted its 7th Annual “Kickin’ It For Hope” kickball tournament on February 8, 2020. In addition to the kickball tournament, “Kickin’ It For Hope” also featured bounce houses, games and other family-friendly activities. This event raised money for the No Bad Days Foundation, a nonprofit who provides life-enhancing medical devices and other necessities for children with disabilities that have been denied by insurance. This year, over 250 people were in attendance, and the event raised over $8,000 for the No Bad Days Foundation.
“The daily struggles these amazing children and their families have to endure is unbelievable. I am continually amazed at their strength and determination to accomplish what others may consider routine tasks. It is an honor for our firm to help, even in some small way, and give back to our community that has given us this opportunity,” says Mark Warzecha, partner of Widerman Malek.
About The No Bad Days Foundation
The No Bad Days Foundation supports children in Brevard County that have medical disabilities but are unable to acquire life-enhancing medical devices and other necessities. There are devices and equipment that could forever enhance the life of a child, but insurance companies may not agree that they are “medically necessary” and coverage is denied. The foundation raises funds to help families procure medical equipment and devices that provide a better quality of life for children with disabilities. No Bad Days is a 501(c)(3) and 100% of all monies collected from donations goes directly to the children.
