John joined Rudolph Friedmann LLP in 2003. For more than a decade, John has afforded sound and successful advice and representation to businesses and individuals in the areas of business transactions, civil litigation, and construction law.

John's recent representation of clients include

  • Filed and won a bid protest for a $2 million dollar subcontract wrongfully awarded to a competing bidder
  • Real estate attachments on business properties to satisfy substantial debts to general contractors
  • Successful litigation and settlement negotiations between businesses

John received a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1992 and was admitted to the practice of law that same year. He was graduated cum laude from Brandeis University in 1987 and also attended University College School of Law in Galway, Ireland. In 1983, John graduated at the top of his class at Catholic Memorial High School. Elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1992, the Norwood native is currently serving his eighth term. John as the past Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee was the architect of budget recovery plans that successfully navigated the Commonwealth through one of the worst revenue crises in state history.

John is a lifelong resident of Norwood where he resides with his wife Brenda and three daughters, Abigail, Katherine, and Lindsay.
