Over the course of the last 2 decades, Jeremy has focused his practice on general liability and employment defense litigation, where he represents transportation companies, insurance companies, corporations, and individuals throughout state and federal courts in Alabama. More specifically, Jeremy represents corporations and individuals in the defense of cases involving catastrophic injury against claims of wrongful death, products liability, construction defects, and trucking liability. Jeremy also represents management in all aspects of employment-related claims brought pursuant to Title VII, ADA, and ADEA.  Jeremy has successfully litigated a broad range of matters to verdict, obtaining defense verdicts for his clients while demonstrating an aptitude and penchant for courtroom advocacy.

Jeremy is dedicated to achieving success through hard work and preparation and believes that courage and integrity should be the foundation of a lawyer’s commitment to their clients and the legal community. After all, “the one thing that doesn’t abide by majority rule is a person’s conscience.” The road to becoming an effective courtroom and trial advocate began in law school for Jeremy, where through his leadership role on the trial board at Cumberland, as well as regional champion and national quarter-finalist as a member of Cumberland’s national trial team, Jeremy developed an appreciation for the value of student courtroom training. Years later, when Jeremy was asked to serve as a coach for Cumberland’s national trial team program, he enthusiastically agreed and led teams to championships in several national competitions.

Outside of the office and courtroom, Jeremy is a true soccer dad. He lives in Vestavia Hills, where he is the proud husband of Amy, a workplace concerns and compliance manager at a large corporation, and the proud father of two daughters, Madeleine and Chloe.
