He served as member and Chairman of the Board of Regents for the Montana University System, President of the University of Montana Grizzly Athletic Association, Member of the Board of Visitors for the University of Montana School of Law, President of the Board of Directors of the UM Rodeo Team, and Chair of the Missoula Family YMCA Board of Directors.
