Christine Cawley is an associate with the firm and concentrates her practice on medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.  Her focus is on the defense of physicians, health care practitioners, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare facilities.  Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Christine was an associate at another Long Island defense litigation firm specializing in medical and dental malpractice as well as healthcare and nursing home negligence.

Christine earned her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School.  While there, she participated in the Domestic Violence Program and Judicial Externship in Queens County.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Adelphi University, where she was a member of the Honors College, graduated with honors, and was admitted to the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.

Christine is admitted to practice in the State of New York and to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
