Charles “Chuck” Shad was a senior shareholder with the firm and practiced law in Florida for more than 50 years. Chuck was a trial attorney practicing predominantly in the area of Medical Malpractice Defense and General Civil Litigation.

Chuck has decades of experience representing hospitals and health care professionals in complex medical claims including birth defect, wrongful death, and catastrophic brain and spinal cord injury cases. Providing both trial representation and legal counsel outside the courtroom, he has achieved an impressive record of defense verdicts for his clients.

Chuck frequently presented to medical professionals about medical malpractice litigation and patient safety. He is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell, its highest ranking.

A native of Jacksonville, Chuck is an avid sports fan, especially Florida State Seminoles, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Boston Red Sox. He enjoys spending time walking his dog, Slider, on the beach.
