Brian M. Block is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department, where his general litigation practice includes commercial, corporate, environmental, intellectual property, banking, employment, and False Claims Act disputes, as well as general appellate work. He represents individuals and businesses in both state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, Brian served as a Law Clerk to Justice Anne M. Patterson on the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

Brian graduated from Rutgers School of Law – Camden, where he earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, and where he also served on the editorial board of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy. During his time in law school, he interned for Chief Judge Theodore McKee on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and served as a law clerk for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Regional Counsel in Philadelphia.

A native of New Jersey, Brian now resides in Chatham, New Jersey with his rescue dog, Jett. He volunteers as a mentor with the New Jersey Law Education and Empowerment Project (NJ LEEP), bringing legal education to students in the Newark region.
