Ashley is a senior associate and joined the firm in 2011. Prior to joining Rudolph Friedmann, LLP, Ashley was an associate at KormanTheiss, LLC, in Boston, MA serving as lead associate of the litigation team.

Ashley, who appears regularly before trial and appellate courts, primarily focuses her practice on criminal defense and complex issues regarding domestic relations litigation. For the entirety of her career, Ashley has handled post-conviction appellate cases at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Ashley also represents clients before numerous administrative boards, Alternative Dispute Resolution forums, and in internal investigations. In addition to her usual practice areas, Ashley has handled civil litigation for clients in employment matters before Superior Courts and in arbitration.

Ashley zealously advocates for children and their families through her work in child welfare matters; including Care and Protection proceedings, Children Requiring Assistance (CRA) petitions, actions to terminate parental rights, state agency-sponsored guardianships, and any other child custody proceedings where the Department of Children and Families (DCF) is a party or where the court is considering stripping custody from parents.

Ashley is also a member of the bar for the U.S. District Court – District of Massachusetts and has successfully litigated both civil and criminal matters before the Federal Court.

Prior to law school, Ashley worked at JPMorgan Chase in the legal and compliance department where she was responsible for the management of outside personal securities accounts.

Ashley attended James Madison University and received a degree in Finance. In 2001, Ashley studied at the University of Antwerp – School of Business and Economics in Antwerp, Belgium. Ashley went on to graduate from New England Law | Boston in 2008.

Ashley has provided legal commentary for various news outlets in and around Massachusetts.

When not practicing law, Ashley, her husband, and their three children enjoy cheering for Boston College football and basketball teams and travelling throughout Europe and Asia.
