Andrew Gimigliano’s practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and government investigations, complex commercial litigation, health care litigation and appellate advocacy.

Andrew frequently represents clients facing investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and by the Attorneys General of New Jersey and New York. He has handled matters including mail and wire fraud, health care fraud, securities fraud, public corruption, environmental violations, and antitrust violations. Andrew also has extensive experience assisting clients with grand jury subpoena responses, has conducted internal investigations for public and private entities, and has counseled clients on health care compliance and regulatory matters.

Andrew’s federal and state civil practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation, including shareholder and partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract claims, health care litigation, civil rights litigation, and securities litigation. An accomplished appellate advocate, Andrew has worked on appeals to the Supreme Court of the United States and the Supreme Court of New Jersey, as well as appeals in the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal and the Appellate Divisions of New Jersey and New York.

Andrew has worked on matters as amicus curiae on behalf of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey, the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey, and the Rutgers Constitutional Rights Clinic.

After law school, Andrew served as a law clerk to Justice Jaynee LaVecchia of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
