International Society of Primerus Law Firms

Join us in Miramar Beach, Florida! Your attendance is not only requested, but critical to the future of the Primerus Personal Injury Institute. The PPII is full of very talented, compassionate trial lawyers who face similar issues in their own respective markets. It is time we launch a smarter, more aggressive, more coordinated strategy to leverage the knowledge, skills and resources in the PPII for the collective benefit of each and every member in the group. Attendees will receive plenty of great material on marketing, trial skills, and business strategies. Additionally, this is also your chance to bring those elements together to redefine what it means to be a member of the Primerus Personal Injury Institute, and to help us create something that doesn’t exist for personal injury lawyers anywhere else!

Marketing – Trial Skills – Strategy

Day 1 — Marketing
Are you losing good cases to lesser quality firms that are spending millions in advertising in your market? How are you competing against these big spenders to stay relevant and visible in your city for the clients who need you the most? It is time to reinvent the Primerus Personal Injury Institute to push back and enhance your referral-based practice to attract more quality cases. Primerus will open the conference with a presentation of a new marketing initiative that will change the direction of the PPII for years to come. We not only invite you to join us, but we need you to attend in order for us to bring our resources together to develop a collective approach that will benefit all PPII members.

Day 2 — Trial Skills
Do you want to be a better trial lawyer? One of the best ways to do that is to surround yourself with other really good trial lawyers. We will stay true to the PPII Winter Conference mission and give you the chance to get on your feet to refine your skills as a plaintiff personal injury attorney to present better cases and get better results. Incorporating experiential learning, the group will explore various aspects of trial including voir dire, opening statements, handling difficult experts and using effective demonstratives. We will also explore how the group can better share resources, recommend experts, and collaborate more effectively.

Day 3 — Strategy
Law firms are facing many of the same problems businesses across the country are facing. How are you attracting and retaining talented attorneys and staff? Are you wrestling with remote work arrangements? Do you have a healthy firm culture and what are you doing about a next generation? You don’t have to face these management issues alone – find out and learn from what your Primerus colleagues are doing. This final day of the Conference will also include a summarization of ideas. Taking into consideration everything that is discussed and shared over the three-day program, the group will define how we can be successful and identify what must happen next. This is your chance to help us truly shape the identity of the new Primerus Personal Injury Institute.
