Primerus expands global reach through alliance with DFK International

Primerus is expanding its global network through a new alliance with DFK International, a worldwide association of accounting firms recognized for its high standards and collaborative culture. The partnership brings together two organizations that share a commitment to excellence, trusted relationships, and exceptional client service.
DFK includes more than 200 independently owned accounting firms in over 85 countries. Each member firm is carefully vetted to ensure it meets the organization’s rigorous professional standards. Like Primerus, DFK places a strong emphasis on quality, integrity, and meaningful member connections, making the alliance a natural fit.
“For Primerus members, the collaboration creates new opportunities to deliver broader support for clients through access to high-level accounting expertise in audit, tax, advisory, and forensic services,” said Robin F. Lewis, senior vice president of special projects at Primerus.
The partnership offers value across a wide range of legal matters, from transactional work requiring financial and tax guidance to litigation involving forensic accounting and damages analysis.
The two organizations also share a similar global structure and philosophy. Both maintain strong regional networks across North America, Latin America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, while prioritizing relationship-building through conferences, professional development, and in-person collaboration.
The alliance will begin by connecting Primerus members with DFK firms throughout the United States. Firms in corresponding geographic markets will be introduced to encourage relationship-building, identify shared client needs, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Over time, we hope to expand internationally, with discussions planned for July 2026 to explore broadening the alliance beyond the U.S. Future initiatives may include joint conference programming, speaking opportunities, collaborative meetings, and social events, and the development of shared resources focused on key practice areas and industries.
