What an incredible few days in Boston!
From October 1–3, Primerus members, colleagues, and friends from around the world gathered at the beautiful Fairmont Copley Plaza for the 2026 Primerus Global Conference, centered around this year’s theme: “The Past, The Legacy, and The Path Forward.” The conference gave us an opportunity to reflect on the legacy that has shaped Primerus for more than three decades while looking ahead to the changing legal profession, the evolving needs of our clients, and the relationships that will continue to move our firms and our organization forward. Throughout the conference, members participated in thought-provoking educational sessions and collaborative discussions, including:
• The Leadership Model Is Broken
• Rainmaking in the Age of AI – The Most Human Lawyer Wins
• ROI and How to Manage Your Membership Better
• Technology Competence & AI in Legal Practice
• Risk Management in Law Firms – The Importance of Keeping Up with Change; The Risks of Getting Left Behind
Interactive roundtables also focused on business development, crisis management, practice management, and maximizing Primerus membership. Of course, a Primerus conference is about more than what happens inside the meeting room! Attendees experienced Boston and New England through a lobstering tour of Boston Harbor, a classic Duck Boat outing, a walking tour of Back Bay, a local theater performance, and a community service project benefiting Haley House. We closed our time together with a memorable evening at The Banks Seafood and Steak.
Most importantly, the Global Conference reminded us what makes Primerus special: the relationships. Thank you to everyone who traveled near and far to join us and helped make the 2026 Global Conference such a memorable experience. The past built our foundation. The legacy is ours to carry. And the path forward is one we will continue to build together.
We can’t wait to see everyone again at the next Primerus Global Conference!
