Daniel Cousineau is a Partner in the Corporate, Finance & Securities Group. He brings over a decade of experience and a reputation for providing strategic counsel to both corporate and private equity clients on transaction structuring, purchase agreement considerations, and executive compensation matters.

Daniel specializes in tax services related to domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, including reorganizations, joint ventures, divestitures, and debt restructurings. He also has extensive experience with drafting partnership and limited liability operating agreements for funds, real estate ventures, and artists in the entertainment industry, as well as the structuring and taxation of executive compensation and profit-sharing agreements.

Before joining Greenberg Glusker, Daniel was a partner at a mid-size firm in Los Angeles and, prior to that, was a member of KPMG’s Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Group. Daniel earned his J.D. from the George Washington University School of Law and his LL.M. in taxation from the New York University School of Law.
