Stephanie assists clients in the not-for-profit space, practising in the areas of education law, commercial law and employment law. She acts for many independent schools and charities across a broad range of matters.
Stephanie is also a valued member of our property law team and is particularly experienced in both large and small property transactions, regarding transfers of land and business. She assists clients with wills and general estate planning and business transactions.
Embracing the advancement of technology and the movement toward electronic filing, registration and e-conveyancing is an important part of her work. She believes this framework will drive greater efficiency in the legal sector, which will help increase capabilities and reduce costs.
As an advocate for the value of higher education, Stephanie worked as a tutor in the Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) program, which aims to increase access to tertiary education for disadvantaged high school students.
I am passionate about the role charities play in providing essential services, both in Australia and overseas. I believe in working collaboratively with our clients to discover their unique aims and assist them to achieve their goals. It is incredibly rewarding to help our clients in their mission of helping others.
Key Professional Achievements:
- Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Business with Distinction, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours Class 1 and a Diploma of Legal Practice in 2017 at the University of Newcastle.
- She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2018.
- Stephanie worked part-time as a law clerk at Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers prior to admission.
- She is currently a member of the Australia and New Zealand Education Law Association.
