Catie is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy. At UAB, she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and the Pre-Law Society. Catie went on to attend Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. During law school, Catie was a member of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, Women in Law Society, Cumberland Public Interest and Community Services Organization, and the Alabama Student Bar Association.

In her spare time, Catie enjoys spending time with friends and family and going on walks with her two labradors, Judge and Navy.
