Adam D. Miller

Adam D. Miller joined the Szilagyi & Daly in 2022 as an Associate. In 2024, Mr. Miller was named a Senior Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Miller practiced law Sussman, Duffy & Segaloff, in New Haven, Connecticut defending a variety of claims brought in state and federal court in Connecticut.

Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Denver, with a B.S. in Business Administration, Cum Laude. Mr. Miller earned his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School, Cum Laude.

Mr. Miller is admitted to practice law in the courts of the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Mr. Miller has 12 years of litigation experience including defending claims on behalf of insurance carriers' policy holders including individuals, cities and towns, and large and small corporations. His practice has covered the areas of premises liability, construction defect litigation, product liability, professional liability, real estate disputes, and civil rights defense.

Mr. Miller is highly proficient in legal research and writing, all phases of discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, bench, and jury trials. Mr. Miller has a client first approach to litigation with the determination and skill to achieve successful outcomes.

Mr. Miller is active in the young lawyers section of the Primerus Defense Institute.
