J. Wesley Daughdrill

Wes Daughdrill concentrates his practice in the areas of:

Wes provides his services to a wide variety of clients, from start-up companies to national and regional companies in industries such as transportation, telecommunications and manufacturing. Wes has represented a publicly held target company in a hostile takeover attempt and provided a variety of business-related services to a wireless telecommunications company, which ultimately went public and merged with another publicly traded entity. He has extensive experience in:

  • Business acquisitions and sales
  • Formations of corporations and other entities
  • Contract preparation and negotiation
  • Corporate governance
  • Private placement transactions, including Reg D offerings for wireless telecommunications companies based in Mississippi and Alaska.

Wes serves as Board Attorney for both the Jefferson Davis County Board of Supervisors and the Town of Prentiss. 

He has developed a significant adoption practice in which he handles intrastate and interstate adoptions.  In 2006, Wes was inducted into the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, a group of over 330 attorneys who practice or have distinguished themselves in the field of adoption law.
