Laercio Pellegrino Jr. has a law degree (J.D. equivalent) from the State University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) (1987). Laercio PellegrinoJr. holds a Mastrer of Laws (“LL.M”) from the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. (1994). Laercio Pellegrino Jr. has attended the MBA on Finance at the Brazilian Capital Markets Institute, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (“IBMEC”) (2007).

Laercio Pellegrino Jr. has worked for over 20 years in full-service corporate law firms and, more recently, in a corporate law boutique for 11 years. Laercio Pellegrino practices corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions involving both privately-held and public companies. Besides corporate reorganizations, his practice encompasses the organization of business entities, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and contracts in general. Laercio Pellegrino Jr. has also worked in the privatization and reorganization post-privatization of companies in the cell-phone, electric energy and gas distribution areas. Laercio Pellegrino Jr. worked in high-visibility infrastructure projects such as in the Bolivia-Brazil pipeline project. Laercio Pellegrino Jr. has experience in the pharmaceutical, real estate, information technology, oil and gas, healthcare and other areas.
