Anthony R. Ager

Anthony R. Ager, a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney (highest peer-review rating for professional excellence), has more than 20 years of litigation experience. Mr. Ager practices in the areas of plaintiffs’ personal injury, landlord-tenant law, commercial litigation, and both gaming and non-gaming collections. Mr. Ager has represented a wide variety of accident victims in catastrophic and less-severe injury cases. His landlord-tenant practice includes representing commercial landlords in eviction proceedings and counseling landlords on resolving disputes with tenants. As a commercial litigator, Mr. Ager represents businesses in Nevada’s state and federal courts. Mr. Ager represents a large casino client in gaming collections matters, and he recently secured a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision affirming that casino markers are valid and enforceable by legal process. He draws on his extensive experience in gaming and non-gaming collections to assist clients in collecting on judgments in all of his practice areas.

Before joining Sklar Williams, Mr. Ager was a shareholder at a top-tier regional firm and was of counsel at an NLJ 500 law firm. He began his career at a boutique law firm in Las Vegas, where he focused on insurance defense matters. Mr. Ager is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and California Western School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Nevada and California.
