Aaron B. Fricke

Mr. Fricke is focused on serving the unique needs of healthcare professionals – from regulatory compliance, professional liability, licensing and credentialing, to business structuring and employment, to personal wealth and estate planning, and asset protection. Mr. Fricke joined Sklar Williams to help provide the most comprehensive array of legal services available to healthcare professionals of all types throughout Nevada. He is an experienced counselor and litigator, and works with all the firm’s highly skilled and specialized attorneys to coordinate and integrate services, and to seamlessly address all of your business, professional and personal legal needs.

Mr. Fricke most recently served as General Counsel of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, where he worked with Board members, investigators and licensing staff, as well as a multitude of state and federal agencies, law enforcement, and healthcare stakeholders to address public safety concerns, to maintain the integrity of the healthcare profession in Nevada, and to prosecute professional disciplinary actions on behalf of the Board.* Prior to his service to the State of Nevada, Mr. Fricke worked with Nevada’s leading law firms in the areas of healthcare regulation, civil litigation, contested trust and probate matters, and estate planning.

Mr. Fricke received his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark and Washoe County Bar Associations, American College of Healthcare Executives, American Health Law Association, and National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, among other professional affiliations. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Nevada, the U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

*At this time, in accordance with NRS Ch. 281A, Mr. Fricke isrestricting his work for clients licensed or eligible for licensure by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, including without limitation, by not participating in, and by being screened from participation in, any matters that were pending during his service to the Board.
