R. Douglass Klaber, Jr.

Douglass Klaber graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 1994. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Economics and Political Science from Bucknell University in 1986. Between college and law school, Mr. Klaber was employed as first mate on the 80 foot ocean-racing sloop, Ondine VII, which competed internationally in various sailing regattas.

In 1994, Mr. Klaber joined Robb Leonard Mulvihill as an attorney and was elevated to partner in 2002. He is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. From 2006 through 2015, Mr. Klaber was recognized annually as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, in the area of Business Litigation, by Philadelphia Magazine. In 2013 he was selected to the Top 50 Pittsburgh Area Super Lawyers list. Mr. Klaber was also selected by his peers to appear in the last nine editions (2014 - 2022) of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also belongs to the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Klaber concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, insurance coverage litigation, commercial litigation, products liability, transportation law and motor vehicle and premises liability. He has been invited to lecture on various subjects including insurance coverage litigation, automobile litigation and civil litigation.
