Frederic Pugliese

Frederic Pugliese is Counsel in Mandelbaum Barrett PC’s Healthcare Litigation Practice Group, representing healthcare providers, businesses, and professionals in complex healthcare litigation, payor reimbursement disputes, regulatory investigations, and employment matters.

Frederic’s practice focuses on healthcare litigation and related disputes, including out-of-network reimbursement and payor matters, provider and practice-related litigation, and employment claims involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, and violations of company policies and state and federal law. He represents clients through all stages of litigation, from pre-suit strategy, pleadings, and motion practice to hearings, arbitration, trials, and resolution. In addition, he advises clients facing regulatory scrutiny and conducts internal investigations involving workplace misconduct and compliance concerns.

Before joining the firm, Frederic served as an Attorney-Advisor with the U.S. Department of the Army, where he advised on federal regulatory compliance and policy matters. Earlier in his career, he served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force, acting as first- and second-chair counsel in numerous trials and overseeing investigations involving fraud, misconduct, and workplace complaints.

Frederic also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William J. Martini of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Jennifer Choe-Groves of the U.S. Court of International Trade. These experiences provided valuable insight into the litigation process from both the trial and appellate perspectives.

He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Business Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. Frederic is admitted to practice in New York.
