Monique Smiles is an experienced personal injury lawyer based in Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers’ Newcastle office.

She specialises in medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents, public liability and workplace injuries & accidents. Monique also has experience in wills and estates, estate litigation, elder law, criminal law, family law and conveyancing.

Her own experience as a claimant in a medical negligence matter years ago gave her firsthand insight into how overwhelming and emotionally draining the process can be. It  made her more compassionate and understanding of what her clients go through.

She had the privilege of working on one of Australia’s biggest compensation payouts for a personal injury claim – a case that reinforced just how important it is to fight for the best possible outcome.
