Deanna’s practice involves the defense of physicians and medical professionals in licensing investigations and disciplinary matters before the Washington Medical Commission, Washington State Board of Nursing, and Department of Health. Deanna also defends physicians, hospital systems, and medical professionals in cases involving claims of medical negligence in Pierce, King, Snohomish, and Thurston Counties, as well as other counties around Washington State.
During law school, Deanna externed with the Health Law Judges at the Department of Health that preside over licensing and disciplinary matters. After law school, Deanna worked in the legal department of a local hospital system, giving her unique insight into her clients’ needs and perspectives. Prior to joining Johnson Graffe Keay Moniz & Wick in 2024, Deanna was a partner at another local medical malpractice defense firm, where she defended medical providers for more than a decade.
