William Philpot

Will is an associate in the firm’s Birmingham office and focuses his practice on civil litigation, including insurance defense, construction, transportation, product liability, and premises and general liability. He assists in all phases of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal.

Will is a Birmingham native who graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University, where he served as Chi Chapter President of the Theta Chi Fraternity, an Interfraternity Council (IFC) Court Justice, a Senior Student and Athletic Recruiter, and member of IFC Chapter of Presidents. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law where he continued to lead as Senior Class President and Lead Admissions Ambassador.

Will has always aspired to help those in need. He believes the key to successful advocacy begins with building strong and trusting relationships, supported by open communication and collaboration. It is Will’s goal to always apply these ideals to his method of representation.
